Join Helensburgh Art Hub with photographer Kath Polley for this popular beginner photography workshop for adults in the Front Room Gallery.
This workshop will help you get to grips with using a DSLR camera by introducing you to the essential controls, which will help you make creative choices to get the best photographs you can.
By the time you leave, you will know how to take charge of shutter speed, aperture and ISO on your camera, understand the impact these have on your images and why you might choose one lens over another for a particular kind of photograph.
We will practice these skills with still life and portrait setups, and you will have a set of notes to take away and refer to again.
Price: £30
Date: April 3, 19.30-21.00
Address: Front Room Gallery, 77, W Clyde St, Helensburgh, G84 8BB
Please bring your DSLR camera and ensure you have a clear memory card and a fully charged battery.
