Nurture your mind-body connection through painting and exercise in this energising workshop with Karlyn Marshall!
Join us for an energising experience at the Front Room Gallery with 'Mindful Art & Movement', a workshop designed to harmonise your mind and body. Guided by artist and professional personal trainer, Karlyn Marshall, this session is perfect for beginners, seeking a gentle introduction to both creative expression and physical well-being.
Over 2.5 hours, you’ll start by exploring your creativity through an engaging painting workshop, allowing your mind to calm and focus. Karlyn's guidance will help you to express your artistic side in a supportive environment. Following the painting session, you’ll transition into a series of stretches and light resistance training, specifically designed to improve posture, comfort, and overall well-being. These exercises will help you feel more in tune with your body and promote better health as we age.
This ticket includes a training programme to help you achieve these goals after the workshop ends. Suitable for all abilities, no art or exercise experience required. All art materials and exercise equipment will be provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and a desire to unwind and connect with your inner self. Whether you’re looking to de-stress, tap into your creativity, or simply enjoy some quiet time for yourself, Mindful Art & Movement offers a new approach to self-care.
